AN ACT to provide for the implementation of the Agreement establishing the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank and for matters connected therewith.

Commencement (By this Notice to be published in the Gazette).

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the House of Assembly of [ ] and by the authority of the same as follows:

Short Title.

1. This Act may be cited as the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Agreement Act, 19 .

Interpretation.

2. In this Act - “Agreement” means the Agreement establishing the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank done at Port-of-Spain on the 5th day of July 1983, the text of which is set out in the Schedule and to which the Government is a party;

“Article” means Article of the Agreement;

“Bank” means the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank established by the Agreement;

“Minister” means the Minister responsible for the subject of Finance.
