c) The St Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association

St Vincent and the Grenadines Netball Association (the host Netball Association) was

established to assist with the development of netball in the country. The mandate of the

Association is to enable the sport to function as a viable, sustainable sporting enterprise,

through the promotion of community, national, regional and international programmes in

collaboration with various stakeholders.

3. COLLABORATIVE EFFORTS, ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 The ECCB will:

(a) Undertake the coordination of promotional activities to facilitate the hosting of the tournament as follows: o Produce promotional banners; o Contract photography and broadcasting services; o Promote tournament on ECCB’s website and social media platforms; and o Disseminate news releases and tournament broadcasts and photographs to regional media houses on a daily basis during the course of the tournament. (b) Ensure that the funds are transferred from the ECCB to the host Netball Association upon receipt of the budget and fixtures for the tournament. (c) Liaise directly with the host Netball Association to jointly manage the financing of the tournament. 3.2 The Caribbean Netball Association (CNA) shall: (a) Have oversight responsibility for the tournament and shall undertake technical backstopping, as and when required, to monitor compliance with international netball standards pertaining to host country requirements, delegation and officials. (b) Arrange for the services of technical and/or administrative resource personnel, where necessary and at the request of the host country. (c) Form a Pro Tempore Secretariat, a separate entity from the CNA, comprising of the presidents of national netball associations of the past host, the current host and the proposed next year’s host. The Pro Tempore Secretariat shall work in partnership with the CNA with regards to the design of the framework for implementation of the OECS/ECCB International Netball Series on an annual basis.
