Technological Innovation

The goal is to increase bank participation so that there is at least two submissions from each of the eight ECCB member countries.

1) Prepare letters to commercial banks inviting them to submit entries for the award (31 March). Submit link to online portal for entries.

2) Send correspondence to Agency Offices requesting nominations for judges in respective countries for the six categories of the competition (30 June)

Meet with judges to discuss judging criteria (by last week of August).

4)

Post link to invite public to online voting (first week of September).

5)

Prepare bank hall promotional banners (last week of September).

6) Coordinate judging of entries and finalise winners (by first week of October).

7) Prepare citations for the recipients. Citations should be so written that the country specific details are omitted. The listener must only know the category winner when it is announced (October).

Prepare inscription for the Awards (October).

9) Prepare and dispatch news release to announce the Awards (late October).

10) Prepare multimedia presentation of pictures received with entries for display during the ceremony (late October).

11) Order trophies/plaques for winners. The order should be placed no later than one month before the event.

12) Identify and confirm availability of the persons to read the citations and assist with presentation of the Awards (October).

Order bouquet/gift basket for presenter of Awards (October).

14) Set up display of plaques/trophies by 4:00 p.m. on the day of the Awards ceremony.
