CHARITABLE DONATIONS/SPONSORSHIP POLICY

1.0

INTRODUCTION

1.1

Purpose

From time to time the ECCB receives requests from groups and organisations throughout

the ECCU for charitable donations, or sponsorship of various programmes and events.

This document outlines the Bank’s policy and the process to be followed in treating with

these requests.

1.2

Rationale for Providing Assistance

The ECCB, as a regional organisation, must not appear to favour any of its eight member

countries. It will therefore only consider requests for donations and sponsorship towards

initiatives undertaken within its eight member countries that would benefit them

holistically, and which can be classified as contributing in some way to the economic

development of the ECCU.
