3.4 COMMUNICATING WITH THE MEDIA IN A PRIVATE CAPACITY

From time to time, staff members communicate with the media in a private capacity. In

all such instances, employees should make it clear that any comments are their own

opinion, and in no way reflect the views or opinions of the Bank.

Notwithstanding their professional expertise, there will be circumstances in which it will

be inappropriate for Bank personnel to comment, for example, on issues related to

political or other sensitive matters or issues which are within the scope of the Bank’s

operations. All Bank personnel are therefore required to exercise judgment and care at

all times.
