In 2018, EIB provided EUR 19 billion in climate finance

By 2020, at least 35% of EIB finance outside of the EU for climate action (achieved); by 2025, at least 50% of EIB finance globally is to be for climate action and environmental sustainability; and by 2030, the EIB Group aims to unlock more than 1 trillion dollars of investments for these goals.
