Promoting Digital Resilience and Strategic Dialogue The 9 th Annual Growth and Resilience Dialogue, held on 10–11 April 2025 under the theme, “In Pursuit of Extraordinary Excellence,” brought together a diverse group of stakeholders to explore key issues impacting economic growth and resilience. The two-day event featured discussions and interactive sessions focused on: ; Indigenous and Regenerative Tourism - Reimagining tourism to promote sustainability and cultural empowerment. ; Sports Investment and Development - Leveraging sports as a driver of economic growth and community transformation. ; Data Infrastructure and Resilience - Strengthening data ecosystems to support long-term economic and social resilience. ; Electric Vehicles (EVs) - Advancing sustainable mobility and clean energy solutions. Day One keynote addresses and presentations delved into how to ensure sustainability in tourism, with a focus on indigenous and regenerative tourism practices. Additionally, interactive sessions including live demonstrations on data mining, data resilience and building robust digital infrastructures to support our region’s technological landscape

laid out a strategic roadmap for digital resilience and transformation.

Day Two engagements highlighted the critical importance of developing the region’s sports industry, and investing in and expanding the adoption of electric vehicles. Highlights included an insightful discussion with 2024 Triple Jump Olympic Champion, Thea Lafond-Gadson; a panel discussion on developing the region’s ecosystem for electric vehicles (EV); a masterclass on business and career opportunities in EV sales and servicing, and an exciting demonstration of how to convert a traditional powered vehicle to an EV.
