The ECCB, in collaboration with the Regional Security System – Asset Recovery Unit, hosted the 2025 Creative Youth Competition, which focused on essay writing. The competition encouraged students to explore critical socio-economic themes, including the integration of financial education in schools, the role of sports in youth development and crime prevention, and education reform aimed at fostering creativity and innovation. Students from six ECCB member countries achieved top positions across two age categories. In the 13–16 category, first place was awarded to Adin Corbette of the Montserrat Secondary School, followed by Syreina Harris of Convent High School in the Commonwealth of Dominica, and Esther Barzey of Antigua Girls’ High School. In the 17–19 category, Endira Reeknauth of the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College in Saint Christopher (St Kitts) and Nevis secured first place, with Jaida Victor of the T A Marryshow Community College in Grenada and Kevisha Richardson of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Community College placing second and third respectively.
