The Bank continued to advance its Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance agenda through regional collaboration, policy advocacy, community engagement, and institutional strengthening. These efforts were aligned with the Bank’s broader strategic vision of fostering sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development across the Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU). Economic Engagement, Global Partnerships and Policy Advocacy Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility (RREIIF) The Bank, through sustained engagement in global and regional policy platforms, advanced its mandate of supporting regional economic transformation. A key area of contribution was the Bank’s participation in the Resilient Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment Facility (RREIIF) committees, providing technical and analytical input to support regional sustainability initiatives. The interventions advanced the ECCU’s renewable energy transition agenda, strengthening energy resilience, improving policy coordination, and supporting the region’s broader sustainability objectives. Governor Timothy N.J. Antoine led an ECCB delegation comprising the Chief Director (Policy), D Tracy Polius (PhD) and Director, Advisory Services, Emefa Sewordor (PhD), to the 2025 World Bank Group and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings, held from 21 to 26 April 2025 in Washington, DC.
