through the CARDTP and engaged a consultant to review the Virtual Assets Business Act and draft regulations and guidelines for virtual assets business. The Draft Virtual Assets Business Regulations were finalised during the year and submitted to the member countries in December 2023 for issuance. A mendments to P ayment S ystem -E astern C aribbean A utomated C learing H ouse S ystem (ECACH) R ules , 2021 The Bank recorded progress in its efforts to widen access to the ECACH by facilitating the participation of other financial institutions such as credit unions. The Amendments to Payment System (Eastern Caribbean Automated Clearing House System) Rules, 2021, which seek to broaden this access, have been published in seven of the member countries. R egistration of DXCD T rademarks In preparation for the implementation of DCash 2.0, the Bank made significant progress in the registration and protection of the DXCD trademarks in all the ECCB member countries. To date, the trademarks have been registered in all eight member countries.
