2022 S.T.A.R., IMPACT & SPIRIT AWARDS

S.T.A.R. AWARDS

All members of staff are allowed to nominate no more than two (2) staff members for a S.T.A.R. Award. Nomination should be submitted using the “STAR Award Nomination Form – Individuals”. All members of staff with the exception of the Executive Committee are eligible to be nominated for the S.T.A.R. Awards. Individual Awards Department Award To be considered for the Award, a department must complete and submit the “STAR Award Nomination Form – Department”.

S.T.A.R. AWARDS CRITERIA

Service Excellence

Take initiative and tap opportunities to improve productivity Introduce innovative ways of executing the Bank’s work programme Significantly improve the level of service leading to satisfaction of internal and external clients Go the extra mile

S.T.A.R. AWARDS CRITERIA

Avoidance of deception, misrepresentation and non- disclosure in interactions with fellow staff members, management and the Executive of the Bank Always forthcoming and sincere Truth-Telling

Teamwork Readily and willingly assist other team members to meet the Bank’s objectives Readily and willingly share knowledge and expertise Be willing to associate with the successes and shortcomings of the team Give credit where it is due and be generous in sharing credit with teammates

Accountability

Make no excuses Take responsibility for personal actions and work on areas identified for further professional development Provide timely and meaningful updates on progress of work assignments

S.T.A.R. AWARDS CRITERIA

Results

Lean into problems and solve them Complete tasks on or before deadlines while meeting or exceeding the established standards

Provide timely and constructive feedback Commend and celebrate team members

SPIRIT AWARD The Spirit Award recognises staff who continuously demonstrate the ECCB spirit or are excellent ambassadors of the Bank. All members of staff are allowed to nominate one staff member for a Spirit Award.

SPIRIT AWARD CRITERIA

Demonstrate ECCB spirit by actively volunteering and supporting campus initiatives; or Enhance the image of the Bank by acting as an ambassador for ECCB as a great place to work, learn and grow Efforts and contributions are above and beyond one’s regular job duties Promote a work environment that is respectful, collegial and supportive Nominations should be submitted using the “ Spirit Award Nomination Form ”

IMPACT AWARD

The Impact Award recognises staff members or teams who have developed, revised and/or implemented a system, tool, process, initiative and/or programme within their departments or across the Bank, that has had a positive impact.

Members of staff are allowed to nominate one staff member for an Impact Award

Has developed, revised and/or implemented a system, tool, process, initiative and/or programme that meets one (1) of the following: Enhanced service delivery Created efficiencies Enhanced productivity using technology Enhanced the work environment or the staff experience Decreased organisational risks The initiative has had a positive impact on a department and or the Bank Nominations should be submitted using the “Impact Award Nomination Form” . IMPACT AWARD CRITERIA

NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS

A staff member is not allowed to nominate him/herself for an Award

Completed nomination forms should be submitted via email to the ‘ STAR Awards Committee’ email group. (Please do not submit or copy forms to the CRD) The deadline for submitting completed nomination forms is Wednesday, 16 November 2022
