HOW TO EDIT/ADD CONTENT PAGES
Objective: to manage the creation and editing of website pages and the arrangement of these pages into a navigation hierarchy. These are the internal pages of your website, e.g. “About the ECCB,” etc. It also includes creating navigation links to special modules (News, FAQs, etc) and to external sites.
ADDING A PAGE
1. Click on the dropdown Content Manager 2. Highlight and click on Content Pages from the dropdown (see image above) 3. In top left corner, under the title Manage Pages , click on NewPage 4. In the new page, first check the Enabled box 5. Insert a page Title (page name) 6. Insert a Long Title (page header [this would override the age title in point number 5]) 7. Add text and images in Body 8. Under Menu and link handling select the page level a. Choose Top Level Page if you want the page to be a Parent b. If you want the page to appear as dropdown item, select a top level page from the list, e.g. About US , this would be a top level page 9. Next, scroll down and check the box titled Top Menu Item to add item to the main menu 10. Insert Meta Description (short description of the page) 11. Insert Meta Keywords (keyword pertaining to the page) 12. Click on Preview if you wish to preview before saving. 13. Check the box next to Save a Backup if you wish to make a backup
