To jointly review the scheme’s membership, investment performance and financial position. To make joint decisions on the pension scheme in keeping with the Trust Deed and Rules. The overall functions of the Ministerial Subcommittee are to execute the mandate of the Monetary Council in seeking:  a resolution to the insurance sector crisis of the ECCU;  speedy enactment of modern legislation for the effective regulation of the cooperatives sector of the ECCU  To guide the process of coordinated rationalisation and promotion of the cooperatives and insurance sectors in the ECCU To provide policy advice for the effective supervision and regulation of the sectors A subcommittee of the Monetary Council 
