INTRODUCTION

The instruction manual is designed to allow for the management of the content of the ECCB Website (www.eccb-centralbank.com). It is aimed at system administrators who have responsibility for ensuring that all content is published in a form suitable for public consumption having passed through ECCB’s own internal checks and balances both prior to and after uploading to the website.

PREREQUISITES

Administrators of the website must possess the following:

 Basic computer literacy in a Windows, Linux or Apple Macintosh operating systemenvironment.  Intermediate Internet browsing competence.  Command of the English language.  Necessary permissions from ECCB to manage website content and websiteusers. Specific programming language knowledge is not required to manage the website content, though knowledge of HTML and CSS would enable enhanced interaction with the Rich Text Editor used in many areas of the website. While this manual provides all the necessary information for the top level website administrator, there are several categories of users in the system with access to manage defined portions of the system features. This manual can also be used by those user groups for instructions on carrying out their defined functions.
